Home Library Service

Home delivery of library books is available to individuals who are confined to their homes due to physical disability, age or temporary immobilization because of illness or accident. Volunteers deliver materials on a regular basis. Selections are based on the patron’s reading preferences determined during a registration interview. Please call (519) 845-3324 extension 432 for more information, to register for this service or to apply as a volunteer. Top

Talking Books

Our talking book collection provides recreational reading for people whose physical or visual disability limits their use of standard printed materials. These are books recorded on cassette tape. The tapes are numbered in Braille and a regular tape player is all that is needed to listen. Individuals using these books are required to have their disability confirmed by a qualified professional because of the copyright restrictions on the material.

Talking books can be borrowed in person from the Sarnia Branch library or we can select for you and mail them free of charge from   the library headquarters. (You can return mail them free of charge as well).

We have a limited number of cassette players available for short-term loan to our talking book patrons.

Please call 519-845-3324 for more information or to register for this service. Top
