The Lambton County Library provides public access to the Internet in keeping with its role in providing equal access to information and resources to meet the educational and recreational needs of the community. All library users will have enhanced accessibility to ideas and information through the library’s gateway to the Internet
The Internet is an unregulated, worldwide environment which contains information and opinions that range in scope from reliable and authoritative to controversial or offensive. The library does not monitor or control any of the information on the Internet and cannot be held responsible for its content. The Lambton County Library has provided the information contained only in the library home page. Users should be prepared to assess the validity of all information found.
Patrons use the Internet at their own discretion. Parents and guardians of minor children, not the Lambton County Library, are responsible for their children’s use of the library’s Internet connection.
