A lot has changed since my last column…today
is July 15th and any day now Corinne and I will be blessed with a new
baby. Our excitement and anticipation has been building, and I look forward to
turning this new chapter in our lives. When we go into the hospital knowing
that our new baby will arrive all we can do is pray for the best… pray for a quick
painless labour ……pray that Corinne has no complications… and most importantly,
for a health baby. I do want to tip my hat off to Corinne as the past nine
months and for the next couple of days, as she has been the on who has had to do
everything in this pregnancy! Men have it so easy and now as the time ticks to
the start of a new life it will be my time to kick in and support Corinne our
baby. Corinne and I only hope that we can be as good of a role model and friend
to our child as our parents have been to us. A boy or a girl we do not know but
we know one thing it will not be born without loving parents, friends and
family.
