Inkle bands can be woven in varying widths and lengths on a portable, inexpensive inkle loom.  Inkle bands can be used to make belts, suspenders, luggage pulls, bell ropes, curtain tiebacks as well as straps for guitars, binoculars, purses, watches, and cameras.

Wide inkle bands can be used to make cases for pencils or glasses.  Strips of inkle bands can also be sewn together to make vests and other items.
