In 2002, the Sarnia Concert Association was awarded a grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation to purchase a Yamaha CFIIIS 9-foot concert grand piano, to be used by all citizens of Lambton County. The home base for the piano is the Imperial Oil Centre for the Performing Arts (Imperial Theatre).

The SCA gratefully acknowledges the financial support of the Ontario Trillium Foundation, an agency of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Recreation, which receives annually $100 million in government funding generated through Ontario's charity casino initiative.
