Imperial Theatre

Imperial TheatreAll concerts presented by the Sarnia Concert Association are held at the Imperial Oil Centre for the Performing Arts (Imperial Theatre).  The Imperial is a former movie house on Christina Street in Sarnia, Ontario, that was abandoned for many years.  It has been restored to its former grandeur (maybe even more!).

Fast Facts

Christina Street runs north-south, parallel to, and 2 blocks east of, the St. Clair River.  The Imperial Theatre is between Cromwell Street and George Street along Christina.

Theatre opens at 6:30 PM. Doors open for seating at 7:00 PM.  Concerts are at 7:30 PM.

There is no elevator, but the first floor of the theatre is grade-accessible.

All seats are reserved.

No smoking anywhere inside the building.

The first two rows of the theatre are reserved for patrons with hearing, vision, or ambulatory disabilities, with 8 locations suitable for wheelchairs.

No cameras or recording devices permitted.

Parking is available on street, and in the municipal lot across the street.
