SARNIA LIONS CLUB

WHY MEMBERSHIP IN THE SARNIA LIONS CLUB MAY BE FOR YOU..... ABOUT THE SARNIA LIONS CLUB.. An Invitation to you..
Do you feel successful enough in your life to help those less fortunate than yourself?
Do you feel you would get personal satisfaction from helping others?
Can you make a commitment of a few hours each month to attend meetings and fund raising events?
Would you enjoy the company of people who are as committed to having fun as they are to serving others?.
Through membership in a Lions club, people not only help those in need, but have opportunities to develop personal friendships and gain valuable leadership skills. Membership is open to men and women of legal majority and good reputation in the community, and is by invitation only.
The Sarnia Lions Club was founded in 1932.
The current membership of the Sarnia Lions club consists of about 25 Lions. These are people from all walks of life. A lot of our members are older, but none will admit to it..
The Sarnia Lions Club supports several causes.. about one third of our budget is directed towards the visually impaired. Lions have contributed over $500,000 towards laser machines for eye surgery in local hospitals and host an annual Christmas party and summer picnic for our visually impaired friends.. The Sarnia Lions are also active in supporting diabetes research and over 20 local charities such as the Salvation Army, Red Cross, Sarnia Boys Home, Inn of the Good Shepherd, Rebound, Crimestoppers, etc. We are especially proud to support the Lions Park on Russell St.
Please accept this invitation to attend a meeting of the Sarnia Lions Club at no obligation to you. You will see what goes on at meetings of the largest service organization in the world,
LIONS CLUBS INTERNATIONAL
