Helen Mutton is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, Peterborough Teachers' College and Albert College. She studied vocal music with Professor Anglin and at the Royal Conservatory with Dorothy Allen Park. She has been a soprano church soloist for many years. Choirs and ensembles under her direction have achieved outstanding success in music festivals and have performed on CBC and television during an extended teaching career with the Toronto and Lambton County Boards of Education. Since her retirement she has been active in Church and community projects as well as with retired teachers' organizations. During 1993-94 she was Provincial President of the Ontario Association of Superannuated Women Teachers (OASWT) and is still active at the local and Provincial levels of that group. |
