Young Naturalists News Letter We enjoyed a beautiful day at Lorne Henderson playing "Instincts for Survival" game. Animals have many challenges today such as, loss of habitat, disease, predators and unusual weather conditions to name a few. I hope most of you got a feel of what it's like, by role playing the different animals in the food chain. We had a pretty sly fox and wolf during the game! It was really cool to see so many Monarch Butterflies making their long journey south. Monarchs don't like to fly when it's cool, cloudy or rainy. I hope some of them made it all the way to Mexico!
