Nature Photography: Patience or Luck?
Once, closup and macro photography was the realm of skilled photographers using expensive equipment. The box Brownie just couldn't handle timy bugs or distant songbirds. Today, anyone with an inexpensive SLR camera, a few lenses and an X2 teleconverter can take prize-winning pictures. Part of the secret is to take many pictures, show only the good ones, and hide the rest.
