LWI has a number of projects that have enriched the natural areas of Lambton County. These include:

* Howard Watson Nature Trail
* The Ausable Trail
* Karner Blue Property at Port Franks
* Mandaumin Woods
* Wawanosh Wetlands

One of our major projects was an Insect Inventory of the area around Port Franks. A local entymologist, Jeff Skevington, collected bugs over a recent summer and identified and categorized the insects captured over the winter. The final report has been published.
