Drug use is not a victimless crime. This is my message to potheads and junkies all over the world, and yes, that includes you Saturday night tokers. So, you say your drug use is your own business. That it isn't hurting anyone. Here's something to think about the next time you smoke a little weed, do a hit or use a needle. Do you know that many young children who are the victims of pedophiles come from homes troubled by drug use? What does that have to do with you? Chances are pretty good that your drug use could be a part of their victimization.
My words are too strong, you say. It's not your fault, you say. Don't try to blame me because some pervert is brutalizing little children, you say.
Little children, who are the pedophile's prime target.
Little children, who are frightened.
Little children, who cry out in the night.
Little children, who feel all alone.
Little children, who never forget.
Little children, who grow into adult children, forever haunted.
Little children, who are the "innocent victims".
It's not just your business. It's everybody's business.
