Manon Adams

"Whatever it is you want, think about it.  Think, think and think.

"As surely as day follows night, that which you have thought about will be drawn into your life - be it answers, friendships, health, abundance, love and yes even your art."

I was born in Mont Rolland, Quebec which is located up in the Laurentians.  My father was in the Canadian Armed Forces, which meant that every two years we would move to a new location.  I  married  someone who was also in  RCAF.   We moved to  Baden Baden, Germany a few days following our wedding.  After a few years, we returned to Ontario.  I was in my early 20's living in Sturgeon Falls, when my husband  saw me do a bit of doodling.  The next thing I knew,  he came home with a case full of oil paints and brushes. He even had the canvas for me.  All he said to me was "If you can doodle, you can paint." I created a dozen paintings, then stopped because of family and job commitments.  Three years ago when retired, I decided it was now my time and that now I could do what I really enjoyed.  In other words, I hold my husband Rene responsible for my artistic endeavours.  He is my biggest fan.
