Linda moved to Southwestern Ontario in 1979 from a small town in Northern Quebec; the land of nature in all its glory, extreme cold and snow as well as black flies. However, it was a life of living in the outdoors and communing with nature, the perfect backdrop for the creativity she now enjoys.
Linda’s journey into watercolors began in 1999 under the guidance of Kathy Rath, Ariel Lyons and Bear Creek Studios. Joining the “6+1” art group provides a wonderful venue of friendships and motivation among peers. She enjoys immersing herself in the grandeur of nature and subsequently portrays her vision into landscapes in representational style.
