Josee was born in Luxembourg, a small country in the center of Europe. In 1956 she emigrated to Canada. Josee finds painting in watercolour very challenging and it is because of this challenge that she chooses to work in water colour. She likes its fluidity and brilliance. Her paintings feature objects from ordinary life, and visions of roads walked, many times in foreign lands. Josee believes art should be created with joy in your heart, and with freedom of spirit.
